1. Literacy/Frayer Model/Cornell Notes
-Literacy is listening, speaking, & writing.
-Have students write down what they "hear" in the 2 column notes.
-For reading part: justification. Have students "explain" what the problem is asking.
GREAT FOR ANGLE OF ELEVATION/DEPRESSION.
-Add in the processing piece for students. CHeck-ins, turn & talks, etc.
-Issue in Hazel's room: confidence w/ test taking
2. Pacing:
Hazel - Finish testing tomorrow. Starting Pythagorean theorem.
Alvey - testing tomorrow. Starting Pythagorean theorem on block day.
Schultz - Testing towards the end of this week on congruent triangles. Moving to similar triangles, very briefly.
3. NEXT STEPS:
Type in standards/names to Google Spreadsheet to track.
Hazel - WU 5B
RObin - modifying notes, warmups, & assessments.
